    “Tat Tvam Asi” is the title of the debut album of NAGUAL, a band from Piacenza (Italy), published on the 17th February 2017, recorded, mixed and mastered by Alberto Callegari at Elfo Studio (Tavernago, PC), produced by Nagual & Alberto Callegari and published by OrzoRock Music.
    “Tat Tvam Asi” is a Sanskrit mantra that means “You are That” or “You are exactly what you are”.
    The band was formed in 2006 and is composed of four members, well known musicians from the Piacenza and Pavia area: Luca Sabia (Vocals & Guitars – former Art and Illusion, Nobs, Total Eclipse), Vittorio Dodi (Guitars – former Grass or Brass, Dirty Lovers), Giulio Armanetti (Bass – former Zebra Fink) e Claudio Bianchi (Drums – former Sciamano, Dirty Lovers, Powerhouse). Nagual proposes original music and covers rock songs from the 70s/80s/90s and is mainly influenced by: Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Whitesnake (78/93 era), Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog, Pearl Jam and, in general, 70s Rock/Blues and 90s Grunge...
    A Nagual, according to Aztec mythology, was a totemic spirit; every god and every human being had a Nagual, like Huitzilopochtli / hummingbirds and Quetzalcoatl / feathered serpent.
    Nagual is also a term used in the books of Carlos Castaneda, to describe a person who is able to guide others towards new areas of perception.
    The Nagual is the benefactor of apprentices, a guide to total freedom.
